HOW TO VOLUNTEER

Volunteer Administrators Network (VAN)
The Volunteer Administrators Network (VAN) mobilizes volunteers and resources to deliver creative solutions to community problems. To accomplish our mission, we:
• Connect people with opportunities to serve
• Build capacity for effective local volunteering
• Promote volunteering
• Participate in strategic initiatives that mobilize volunteers to meet needs

Make The Volunteer Connection!
People often say they don’t volunteer because they aren’t asked or they don’t know where to learn about volunteering in their community. We’re asking you now to make a difference in your community by being a volunteer. When you mentor a child, visit the elderly, feed the hungry, coach a special athlete, deliver meals to the homebound, or help an adult learn to read, you make a difference. You change lives. To get started as a community volunteer, complete and return an VAN Volunteer Form, contact us at 717-334-5809, or send an email to jlevee@uwadams.org. Learn how you can make a difference.
